Governance
City Center Academy is an independent (not church-run), non-denominational day school with an evangelical perspective. Policies and standards are established by an independent Board of Directors.
Christian Commitment
The board, faculty and administration are committed to the infallible authority of the Word of God and a unified theological and ethical perspective based on its foundational emphases:
- The Lordship of Christ over all of life,
- The efficacy and sufficiency of grace,
- The importance of knowledge in the Christian life, and
- The sufficiency and authority of Scripture.
City Center Academy is committed to Christ-centered education and has Christian leaders, faculty and staff, and philosophy of education. CCA welcomes students and families who are not Christian. Our students and their parents are not required to sign a statement of faith or have church membership. However, the school does require that you understand and support the Christian nature of your child’s education.

Statement of Faith
Education, if it is to be truly Christian, must be by definition committed to the Old and New Testament as the only authoritative rule of faith and practice. The belief, theory, teaching, and personal conduct of the staff, faculty and board must be above reproach biblically. Therefore, we affirm:
- That the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God;
- That there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
- The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and His personal return in power and glory;
- That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential;
- That a person becomes justified by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ;
- The present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life;
- The resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation;
- The spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and His church.
Non-Discriminatory Policy
City Center Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policy, scholarship programs and athletic or other school-administered programs. |
